As a Manual Testing Engineer with over 15 years of experience, you will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing manual testing strategies, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Test Plans. Craft comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Manual Testing. Execute manual test cases to identify defects, ensuring thorough test coverage across all functional areas.
- Defect Documentation. Document and prioritize defects in JIRA, providing clear and detailed information to aid in resolution.
- Cross-functional Collaboration. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide input on testability and quality considerations.
- Project Planning and Estimation. Participate in project planning and estimation activities, offering insights into testing efforts and timelines.
- Regression Testing. Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases and prevent regression defects.
