As a UI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable web applications that enhance the user experience. You will work on various products, ensuring that they are not only functional but also visually appealing and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities
- Web Development. Write clean, maintainable code to solve complex problems at scale, particularly in the FinTech space.
- Problem-Solving. Use excellent problem-solving skills to break down larger challenges into manageable tasks.
- Web Technologies. Utilize your expertise in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, and CSS to develop responsive, mobile-first web applications.
- Framework Expertise. Work with modern web frameworks and possess in-depth knowledge of at least one framework, driving design decisions and implementation.
- Product Ownership. Take ownership of multiple web products, defining and driving their success across teams.
- Usability & Performance. Advocate for usability principles, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and focus on web performance optimization for all products.
- Optimization. Utilize browser tuning and optimization techniques to enhance performance and user experience.
- Architecture Understanding. Work with multi-tier, large-scale web architectures and contribute to system design discussions.
Requirements
- Experience. Minimum of 3 years in UI development, preferably in FinTech.
- Technical Skills. Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Web Technologies. Proficient in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and mobile-first development.
- Framework Knowledge. Experience with modern web frameworks and ability to drive design decisions.
