As a UI/UX Designer at Virtusa, you will play a key role in designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web-based enterprise applications. You will be responsible for translating client requirements into high-quality design solutions, conducting user research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of design projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Development. Create and deliver high-quality UI designs that are user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with client requirements for web-based applications.
- Client Interaction. Conduct client meetings to gather requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback into design iterations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Design Facilitation. Lead and facilitate design sessions, including brainstorming workshops, wireframing sessions, and design reviews.
- User Research. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights, validate design decisions, and make data-driven improvements.
- Prototyping. Develop interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas. Utilize tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Collaboration. Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals. Provide guidance and support to junior designers.
- Trend Awareness. Stay updated with the latest UI design trends, techniques, and technologies. Apply best practices and innovative design approaches to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Design Expertise. Proven experience in creating mock-ups, storyboards, user flows, and process flows. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Design Tools Proficiency. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
- Leadership. Ability to lead and facilitate design sessions, including brainstorming and design reviews.
- Research and Testing. Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Communication. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design ideas and solutions.
- UI/UX Focus. Experience in designing user-centric, easy-to-use, simple, intuitive, and consistent user interfaces for applications.
