Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Information Technology Services (ITS) and project development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and deploy applications adhering to the approved architecture/framework for the CATS platform.
- Seek approval on technical solutions from the project Solution Architect for each deliverable, documenting user stories, technical details, and test results.
- Liaise with Enterprise Architecture (EA), Office of Information Security (OIS), and other relevant teams to obtain necessary approvals for successful project implementation.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to define user requirements and design solutions for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research to identify pain points and opportunities, utilizing methods such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
- Create wireframes or prototypes with interaction design and implement responsive design principles for consistent user experiences across devices.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure accurate implementation of design concepts and user interactions.
- Prioritize user experience in security features and create educational materials for users on new features.
- Facilitate user engagement sessions, ensuring consistent visual and interaction patterns within and across applications.
- Interact directly with business sponsors and subject matter experts to understand requirements and constraints.
- Conduct user modeling, task analysis, and develop personas and scenarios.
- Communicate findings from user research sessions and make recommendations to improve overall user experience.
- Advise on content architecture and navigation design, considering complex user requirements and technical constraints.
- Follow brand and design guidelines set by the customer, always keeping the target audience in mind.
Mandatory Skills
- Over 5 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in Microsoft Azure.
- Strong command of JavaScript, including debugging skills and knowledge of TypeScript.
- Understanding of Angular Architecture, CSS, HTML, Angular CLI, Git, testing frameworks, dependency injection, responsive design, Webpack, and performance optimization.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in an agile development environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Understanding of reactive programming principles, MicroUI applications, .Net Web API, SQL queries, Highcharts, AG Grid, Power BI integration, and usability analysis.
- Ability to balance user experience with technical, security, and business constraints, proposing appropriate compromises.
