Job Description

As a UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation in our AI Enterprise Resource Planning (AI ERP) software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and effective customer experiences that empower users to achieve more. This role offers partial flexibility in work locations, with some on-site presence necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for the customer, mastering their needs and leveraging feedback, user goals, data, and business requirements to drive clear UX direction.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes that empower customers.
  • Produce designs that exemplify UI excellence and deliver clear and objective user experiences, including storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and vision pieces.
  • Embody the "One Microsoft" motto, considering holistic company value in every solution you build.
  • Initiate and facilitate UX team-building efforts to align people on common goals and direction.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field OR equivalent industry experience.
  • Portfolio demonstrating experience across information architecture design, usability, interaction, and visual design for UI.
  • Experience working in agile and lean methodologies in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Proficiency in modern component-based design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.
  • Ability to create highly polished UX documentation, prototypes, mockups, user flows, and other communication artifacts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and drive clarity among the team.
  • Understanding of comprehensive design systems and holistic UI toolkits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience scoping, prioritizing, and estimating design efforts accurately.
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud software or services.
  • Experience designing for AI-driven solutions.
  • Awareness of inclusive design principles including accessibility.
