OpenAI has begun rolling out “Your Year with ChatGPT,” an optional, personalized end-of-year experience that provides users with a high-level reflection on their interactions with ChatGPT throughout 2025. Similar to a yearly recap, the feature highlights major themes from conversations and provides summary statistics about overall usage, offering users a meaningful snapshot of how ChatGPT supported their work, learning, and creativity over the year.

The experience is available to Free, Plus, and Pro users, and is rolling out gradually, so not everyone will see it immediately. To access it, users must have Memory and Reference Chat History enabled and meet a minimum activity threshold—those with very limited usage will only see basic chat stats. At launch, Your Year with ChatGPT is available in English for users in India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, and is not available for Business, Enterprise, or Edu plans.
