Store Data in JavaScript

Hi,


I am currently coding in this way:
 <script type="text/javascript"> var linkObj;
Is this a safe way to store data? My concern is what if a jQuery or other plug-in was to also use the variable.

Hi Arjun,

JavaScript supports to store the data and it can object oriented programming.

My suggestion is do not store any security information which loaded from the server side. But you can store some temp data which is related to the current logged in user which he enter. (some form manipulation and its only scope up to the page).
