Run A Nintex Workflow With Elevated Privileges In SharePoint 2013 And Office 365

Welcome to an article on how to run a Nintex Workflow with elevated privileges in SharePoint 2013 and Office 365. This article will display the action “App Step” and how to configure it.

Generally when we developers are running a workflow, we encounter some of the items where we don’t have access to and sometimes you can’t even identify those items so in those cases we can run our complete workflow on an elevated level of permission as in with full control or admin control.

We don’t have to do much. Firstly, we’ll have to activate a feature.

  • Go to Site Settings.

  • Click on Manage site features.
