  How do I set this in the xaml instead of code behind? comboBoxName.ItemsSource = ds.Tables[0].DefaultView; Thanks

  A piece of code and some User Interface are not enough. Provide some explanation how it works. between ADO.NET is very old now. Try to make binding with some C# Collection.

  Grate article dude. Im learning WPF now days i have a question now if an one want to also add a "--Select--" IsSelected="True" along whit this binding how can i can do that.

    ..can u please tel how can i use the same for a listbox instead of a combobox...i want to display the contents of only one field from my table ...can u help ?..it shows system.data.datarowview instead of actual data
