I had a problem installing on Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate. But Ibrahim suggest and I installed Visual C# 2010 Express and I see Windows Phone project template in Visual C# but still not in Visual Studio 2010.

  Yes Ibrahim. My problem is solved after I installed Visual C# 201 Express version. Now planning to build C# Corner app for Windows Phone :). Any idea what do we need for this? I think we will need a WCF service exposing C# Corner data and then Windows Phone app will consume it? Today, I am focusing on building the User Interface first. I will let you know as soon as I come with some screens and then you can suggest what should we go for ;)

  Hmm.Very interesting. I have searched a little bit.Came across this one: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/windowsphone7series/thread/9d6bb47b-e37a-4c08-bdc2-7f2d012ce341 talks about Missing Item Templates. Have you tried repairing Visual Studio 2010? I've read the System Requirements now at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=04704acf-a63a-4f97-952c-8b51b34b00ce I believe you also have read the requirements. ok.let me tell you how i installed WP7? First of all: I have installed Visual Studio 2010.It installed Silverlight 4 and Silverlight 4 SDK. Then i installed Expression Studio 4. After that I installed Silverlight 4 Tools. Then WP7 Developer Tools CTP was on.I installed it. After Beta released,i have tried to uninstall CTP (first "Add/Remove Programs".But It failed. then I manually uninstalled) Then I have installed WP7 Developer Tools BETA. After a couple of months,WP7 Developer Tools RTW released and i unistalled Wp7 Developer Tools from "Add/Remove Programs" in Control Panel. At first i couldnt install WP7 RTW because of "Compatibility Mode" was on.So i solved the problem by unchecking it. Then finally I installed WP7 RTW using Web Installer. Thats how i have been using now. There must be a key element missing but i couldnt figure it yet.

  Hi Raj, I have installed Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate and then Windows Phone 7 Developer Tools RTW: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=04704acf-a63a-4f97-952c-8b51b34b00ce If you have installed BETA or CTP versions of WP7 Developer tools, just uninstall them.There might be a version-problem.
