Microsoft Kaizala is a mobile application designed for group communication and work management. It is used to efficiently manage the work or collect the data from individuals or large groups, even if they are not part of the organization. It makes it easy to connect and coordinate work with the field employers, vendors, partners, and customer wherever they are.

The features of the Kaizala mobile application can be managed by the web portal. The Kaizala Management Portal can also be integrated with Office 365 Service.
GroupsThere are 4 different types of groups available in Kaizala.
- Organization Groups (Classified into Root and Sub Groups)
- Private Groups
- Public Groups
These are the groups created by the organization administrators. Apart from the usual features like instant message, file sharing, these groups have advanced features like sharing announcements, jobs, meeting requests, polls, surveys, checklists, and photos with location. Also, the organization has the control over who can respond to the actions posted in the group.
There are 2 types (Root & Sub) of Organization groups available in Kaizala to help the administrators with easy management.
Private GroupsThe groups created by the Kaizala administrators through their Kaizala mobile application are marked as private groups. Though the Kaizala administrators can see the group information in the Kaizala Management Portal, they will not have access to perform any action. These Private groups can be converted as Organization group and can be managed by the Kaizala administrators.
Public GroupsThese groups are created by the Kaizala administrators through the Kaizala management portal. This group is kind of a new channel or announcement window where the end users can subscribe to the group and view the messages\actions posted by the admins. The end users won’t be able to make any action (Including Instant chat) in this type of group.

ActionsKaizala also has various action items which can be created & used through the mobile application. The action items include Announcement, Job, Meeting, Quick Poll, Photo with Location, Survey and Checklist. All these action items have default template which can be accessed through the Kaizala mobile application. The Kaizala developer team also provides an option to import the custom action through the management portal. They also assist to create the custom action.

ConnectorsThe Connectors are used to integrate 2 different applications or applications with the action items available in the Kaizala.

REPORTSThe Kaizala Management Portal also has options to export the report in various combination. The Kaizala administrators can view the report of the groups associated with its organization subscription. The below are the various report options available in the Kaizala management portal.
