Introduction

In this article, we will demonstrate what Microsoft 365 actually is, along with all the apps included in the Microsoft 365 suite. Additionally, we will see a brief insight into what each app does and how it can help streamline business needs.

What is Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 is a subscription-based service offered by Microsoft, a suite of productivity software and services. It includes popular programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and others, as well as cloud-based services like OneDrive, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.

Microsoft 365

It allows users to Collaborate with each other in real-time and also helps Individuals and organizations be more productive, efficient, and connected.

We will see all the Apps that are included in Microsoft 365 one by one and will know briefly about each.

Let’s start in Alphabetical order,

Microsoft Calendar

Microsoft Calendar is a digital tool that helps us to manage our schedule and keep track of important events and appointments. It lets us view our Organisation’s Shared Calendar and scheduled Meets and events. With Microsoft Calendar, we can stay organized and on top of our schedule wherever we go.

Microsoft Delve

Microsoft Delve is a tool that helps us discover and organize information across Microsoft 365 applications. It uses the Power of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to display the Information related to the things that we are Performing across Microsoft 365. Delve provides a personalized dashboard that displays documents, emails, and other information related to our work, as well as information about the people we work with.

Microsoft Dynamics 365

Microsoft Dynamics is a suite of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) software applications. It helps businesses manage various aspects of their operations, including financials, supply chains, manufacturing, and customer interactions. Microsoft Dynamics can be customized to meet the specific needs of a business and can be integrated with other Microsoft tools, such as Power BI.

With Microsoft Dynamics, businesses can streamline their operations, increase productivity, and enhance customer relationships.

Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel is Most Popular Program used to organize and Manipulate data. It is commonly used in businesses and organizations to manage data, perform calculations, and create charts and graphs. It also allows us to format data and create custom charts and graphs to visualize data.

Microsoft Forms

Microsoft Forms is an online survey and form creation tool that allows users to easily create surveys, quizzes, and polls. Microsoft Forms offers a wide range of question types, including multiple-choice, text response, rating scales, and more. Responses are automatically collected and can be viewed in real-time. It is Integrated with other tools like Excel, from where the Sheets can easily be exported.

Microsoft Kaizala

Microsoft Kaizala is a secured chat-based app that can be used on Mobile in order to Chat, Communicate, Share Files and Images, and manage tasks and workflows. Kaizala also provides features such as location tracking, attendance tracking, and work reporting. 

Microsoft OneDrive

Microsoft OneDrive is a cloud-based storage service that allows us to store and access our files from anywhere with an internet connection. We can upload our documents, photos, videos, and other files in onedrive. OneDrive also allows us to share our files with other colleagues, making collaboration easy. OneDrive files can be downloaded on any device and can be synchronized with the cloud to ensure zero data loss tolerance.

Microsoft OneNote

Microsoft OneNote is a digital note-taking app that allows us to capture and organize our ideas, notes, and information in one place. It lets you take handwritten notes or audio notes. The Main Purpose of OneNote is to Manage Information, and It helps Improving Productivity.

Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft Outlook lets us be on top of emails. With Outlook, we can set up multiple email accounts, including work and personal, and we can switch between them. It has features such as attachment reminders and the ability to attach a document as a link. Outlook also has a contacts feature that allows us to keep track of our contacts and their information. 

Microsoft Planner

Microsoft Planner lets us manage our tasks by organizing them into plans and assigning them to individuals, and notifying people. We can also set due dates, add comments, attach files, and track progress.

Microsoft Power Automate (Flow)

Microsoft Power Automate is a cloud-based service that allows us to automate workflows by using conditional logic. Workflows can be triggered based on specific events, such as a new email arriving or a file being uploaded to a particular folder. Power Automate provides a visual interface for designing these workflows.

Microsoft Power BI

Microsoft Power BI is a business intelligence and data visualization tool that allows us to create interactive and customizable dashboards and reports with the help of data. The tool includes a range of data analysis and visualization features, including charts, graphs, maps, and tables.

Microsoft Power Virtual Agents

Microsoft Power Virtual Agents is a cloud-based service that enables us to easily create and deploy custom chatbots. These chatbots can be deployed across a variety of channels, including websites, Microsoft Teams, Facebook, and more. Power Virtual Agents uses natural language processing (NLP) to understand and respond to user input, and it also includes AI-powered capabilities such as sentiment analysis and entity recognition.

Microsoft Power Apps

Microsoft PowerApps is a low code - no code tool that lets us develop Interactive forms to Interact with the Organization’s data. It can be built for both Mobile as well as for web. The tool includes a range of templates and pre-built connectors that allow users to quickly connect to data sources such as SharePoint, Excel, and Dynamics 365.

Microsoft PowerPoint

Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation software that allows us to create visual presentations using text, images, and multimedia elements such as audio and video. It has both a client and web version in order to Interact with it. 

Microsoft SharePoint

Microsoft SharePoint is a tool for our Organisation that lets our team boost collaboration and document and content engagement between colleagues. With SharePoint, we can create team sites, departmental sites, and other types of websites that provide a central location for sharing documents, collaborating on projects, and communicating with team members. This tool includes a range of features, such as document libraries, lists, and workflows, that make it easy to manage content and automate processes.

Microsoft Stream

Stream is an Organisation's Video Portal where Individuals can share videos, Presentations, Meetings, and training sessions. 

Microsoft Sway

Microsoft Sway is a digital storytelling application that allows us to create interactive presentations, reports, and other types of content that are designed to be viewed online. Sway is an ideal tool for creating digital newsletters, reports, and other types of content that are intended to be shared online.

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is a popular collaboration and communication platform that allows teams to work together and communicate in real time. It allows us to group, meet, chat, conference, and call. Teams can be accessed on desktop, web, and mobile devices, making it easy to work and communicate from anywhere.

Microsoft To Do

Microsoft To-Do is a task management application that allows us to create and organize our to-do lists. To-Do is an ideal tool for individuals and teams who need a simple and easy-to-use application for managing their tasks and staying organized.

Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word is a popular word-processing application that allows us to create, edit, and format text documents. The software includes features such as spell check and grammar check. Word has a Client and web version in order to interact with it.

Microsoft Yammer

Microsoft Yammer is an enterprise social networking platform (Enterprise’s Social Media)  that allows teams and organizations to collaborate and communicate in real time.
