An Error Occurred while Trying to Fetch Data from your SharePoint Site

An error occurred while trying to fetch data from your SharePoint site.

 When one of my colleagues try to open the SharePoint site from designer 2013., he faces the issue""An error occurred while trying to fetch data from your SharePoint site".

 

Steps followed  to resolve the error

1.  Open IIS.
2. Click on "SharePoint - 80" or the port where you have installed
3. Double-click the Authentication icon.
4. Right Click on "Windows Authentication".
5. Click Disable.
6. Right Click on "Windows Authentication".
7. Click Enable.
