I dont know this is a bug or funtionality of
Gmail. But I want to share my experience with you all. Have you noticed one
thing you can do login with wrong emailid in Gmail.com.
Suppose,
my emailid is [email protected]
but I can do login with :
[email protected]
I don't know how gmail validate mailid but!
little surprising but its true.
Just check with your gmail and comments here.

It ignores '.' character.
