About saved folders

We say suppose we have 1000 files in a folder and we have saved this folder in a USB from computer. We say it took one hour for USB to save that folder.

We say some of those files have been altered and we save it again in the same USB. I wish to know whether USB saving time will be less than 1 hour or same 1 hour.

No, Its depends on file size. How much data you are transferring to USB?
If size of data is same it will take same time.

It is not the guess work. How USB function is the matter. I wish to know whether USB takes less time if same file was already saved in USB.

I think it is depend on size of files not on number of files, if you will alter the files & data size will also reduce then time period will decrease either it will take same time.
