Cryptography - Cryptography is use to provide security , confidentiality to your website. Most common use is for encryption and decryption. And there are sevaral standard algorithms to achieve cryptigraphy. As per current internet world app security and data integrity, confidentiality is mos timportant. You confidential data should be secure during transit and at rest. hen your application is storing, Password, SSN no, PAN no , AAdhar no. etc, even in database these should be protected from exposure. There are application level - code level and DB level cryptography algorithms and options avaialable. ALGORITHMS -in general are set of steps to follow to develop a program. Same applies here, there are certain de facto algorithms used in cryptigraphy.
