I completely agree with you. Still so many MNC company are working WPF and Silverlight enhancement and Support Project. I m also working one big WPF development project. So we canot say XAML is Completly died. We can use this skill in so many enhancement and support project.
I can give reference of some of my good friends if you will tell about work location,Exp Level and mode of payment. I m in Bangalore (india).

I would love to connect to other SL devs out there
I've been developing LoB apps since SL2.
Concepts like: MVVM, MEF, WCF,.. are not strange to me.
I'm also working with Telerik controls in my apps.

I do agree with you. But there are still lots of organizations who wants their apps done in Silverlight for various reasons. Even when MS has stopped working on SL but I believe they are going to support it at least until 2021.

SL could still be the first choice for many organizations working on Digital media/ content publication & a support till 2021 is all they need :)

I was doing lots of Silverlight and WPF but Microsoft has stopped working on SL and has no plans to continue in Future. HTML 5 is (has) replaced it. All Microsoft's new focus is HTML 5 and JavaScript. And now they have TypeScript.
