Aside Tag in HTML 5

Hi guy,

I am creating Aside Tag in HTML 5 its working great in my all browser's except IE-8, any-one help what is the problem. Does I need to upgrade my browser version..?

Hi,

IE is very outdated in technology....
To resolve your issue...

Add this script to your page....

<script> document.createElement('header'); document.createElement('nav'); document.createElement('section'); document.createElement('article'); document.createElement('aside'); document.createElement('footer'); document.createElement('hgroup'); script>

IE8 supports to HTML5 is limited. so you can either upgrade your browser to IE9 or try the workaround javascript:

        var ua = navigator.userAgent;
