How to divide the string "jxm&&tie" to string "jxm" and "tie"?? Please answer me in detail!!

Regex.Split() will work. Regards KevinT

string s="jxm&&tie"; int p=s.IndexOf("&&"); string s1=s.Substring(0,p); string s2=s.Substring(p+2); Unfortunately, Split() method uses char as separator: string[] as=s.Replace("&&","&").Split('&') You can use Regex.Split as well (not tested)
