Hi, I have theoretical knowledge in .NET and in SQL server .I want to have hand-on experience in .NET by working in real time projects under some one's guidance.Please suggest me what should I do?

try in small scale companies for fresher post..there you can learn alot.. improve your skills by trying tutorial which you easily get on community site like c-sharpcorner..

Hi,

My Opinion is very different from others. Firstly thanks from my side because you have theoretical knowledge about both and another point is that you are very curious. First create a simple project only one page or two pages try to do it.

If you stuck anywhere or know about something try to google after that if you do not understand then post you problem C# corner. C# corner family will help you. So don't worry try to do it.

Hello

I have faced the same situation some time ago

so that i can understand you, please follow some steps if you comfortable :

- Do search about what is demanding and trending in market nowadays

- Pick some of them

- List it down somewhere in ascending order

- Find community sites from where you can learn in easy manner

- Apply in small project by your own that you have learned

That's it , you dont need real life projects

After that apply in it firm and now you can achieve your desired goal

First you should work on small application like registration form and how to insert the data -into DB in C-sharepcorner has lot of .net tutorials you can learn from there, but dont giveup

As you mentioned in your query , you have theoretical knowledge on .Net technologies including Sql server , its good to have , if you want to work in real time projects then try attending interviews and work on the sample windows or web application , you can get alot of sample application which is developed in .Net technology. But i suggest you to be good at practical too , so that you can crack a good opportunity in good organisation. Hope this helps.

You will not have a "real" real time experience until you are hired by an organization in developer position and you work on a live project.

Having said that, there are other ways too:
- contact some charity organization, school, etc. or some small business, they have their requirement of creating some online website, you can approach them to do it for them for free. they will get thier website and you will get your experience as well as good reference if you do it well.

For learning ASP.NET online and the regular practice make you to learn the ASP.NET.But microsoft Virtual Academy Provides the Free course for learning ASP.NET
begineers.Internet consists of the various resources for learning ASP.NET...Theoritical knowledge with the practical knowledge is also required for learning and mastering any new technology...!!!
