Assembly Strongname Problem

Hi
I am veryfying strongName mydl.dll file but it is showing me bellow error.....

Sn –Vr mydll .dll //using this command

mydll.dll does not represent a strongly named assembly //Error

Hi
First of all i have created dll file then i did

Click on project -- properties and the browse the SNK file to the respective
folder and compile the project.

compile the program and i did this

[assembly:AssemblyKeyFileAttribute("my.snk")]
[assembly:AssemblyDelaySignAttribute(true)]

then i run this command

Sn –Vr myAssembly.dll //

these are the steps which i have taken...

You're actually registering the assembly for 'verification skipping' using the -Vr switch.

The -v switch is used to verify the strong name.

However, you'll probably still get the same error message.

So are you sure that mydll.dll does represent a strongly named assembly and, if you are, what steps did you take to make it so?
