How is it possible to apply masking to a c# control for a window application. I want a textbox to take only values of this format (###)###-#### FOR TELEPHONE NUMBER

I'm not sure if there are other ways of doing it, but if it were me, I'd create method like this... private bool isTelephoneNumber(string mytext) { // logic here } then in your Validating event... if(isTelephoneNumber(mytextbox.Text) == false) { e.Cancel = true; }
