C# Regex : Stop Word Filter expression

It's not really something you can write a single regex for as there are just too many of them.

Also, it's an ill-defined concept at best and you may therefore need to define your own list.

If your stop words are in an array 'stopWords', and you're filtering a string called 'text', then you could do something like this:

foreach(string word in stopWords)

{

string regexp = @"(?i)\s?\b" + word + @"\b\s?";

text = Regex.Replace(text, regexp, " ");

}

Console.WriteLine(text.Trim());
