It is clear that you cannot possibly assign "Unknown" to the variable of datatype DateTime.

So, on left hand side you should have a variable of data type String and you should assign formatted date time to it. Something as follows, just as an example:

String loginTime = A.Field("LoginTime") == null ? "Unknown" : A.Field("LoginTime").ToString("dd-MMM-yyyy");

If you want LogInTime variable as DateTime object then use:

LogInTime = A.Field("LogInTime") == null ? DateTime.Min :
DateTime.ParseExact(A.Field("LogInTime"), "mm/dd/yyyy", null);

else

LogInTime = A.Field("LogInTime") == null ? "Unknown" : A.Field("LogInTime")

Actually I want, if "LogInTime" is null return "unknown"

Here LogInTime is datetime format in mysql server.

Check

DBNull.Value

instead of Null
