I would say like you u can learn .net in any language you prefer like VB.Net, c# or J# or so.

It doesn't matter the language platform you use, because the concept you learn doesn't change and its only the way we write  the syntax or defination will be changed. 

 

But its like most of the business is actually coded in either C#(majority) or VB.net.
