Can I shift from production support to development infuture

Question

Hi I am holding position as a Jr.software Engineer in dot net technology with 2 years of experience in so called company (Middle level company) and I got an opportunity in one of the MNC as a senior process assosiate (Production support) in same dot net technology.I am confuse to take that opportunity or not.And if I take this opportunity what will be the scope of getting developer position in future can I again change from BPS to development team ?.
