cannot display in the datetiimepicker when i clicked the datagridview

dateTimePicker1.Value = date value should be mm - dd - yyyy or yyyy - mm - dd or something like that

 

Your cell 2 value is not a datetime value 

What is the variable type and also from the shared screen it is shown that you are passing name value in the row.Cells[2].Value field. Also, share the exception detail.
