Can't change Autolog Property

Hy ! I implemented the tutorial about Windows Services written by Mahesh Chand from the section Tutorials. But there is a problem ! I can't find in the Property Autolog for my Win Service ( myService System.ServiceProccess.ServiceBase) and i can't access it from the code like : myService.Autolog ?? ). How can i change this Property to TRUE because i can't register the service using installutil.exe without this property !!

You can set that property from the Properties window of your Windows service project. Open Servie1.cs (or whatever is your service name) and right click on the Properties and set AutoLog to True. By default it is true.

The class viewer doesn't have all the properties all of the time. Go into the MSDN documentation and see if you can find the AutoLog. Did you setup a ProjectInstaller for the service, You will NEED that before you can install it. Right click on the Design view of the Service, and Add Installer is an option.

Sorry ! I could find any other category with SERVICES ! The error is that i can't register the service using installutil.exe ! See the example in Tutorials about WinSERVICE. In this tut the author has a splashscreen with Name_of_Service System.SystemProcess.SystemBase that has a property AUTOLOG that should (i think) be set to TRUE. Well i can't find this property in the class viewer ???

What do you mean you can't install it? And Why is this post in the WebServices? What exactly is the error? You mean a windows service right?
