Can't install Visual Web Developer 2008

Hi,

I am trying to install visual web developer 2008. But, it gives me the following error:-

Setup could not install the following component:

Visual C++ Runtime Pre-requisites

Can anyone help me please?

Thanks Mahesh,
I had Visual Studio 2005 in my system.
I uninstalled it.
I tried different ways like IIS on and IIS off.
But, it gives me error.

Do you have any previous versions installed? Like Beta versions? You may want to completely uninstall them. Also make sure you don't have any other applications running while setup is running. Close all of them.
