can't references System.Data libraries

Dear codemasters Good day to you all, I have an application written in vb.net Asp.net I want to add some features but currently i am writing in C# so I add a C# web form all is working I need to add a class to app_code then I found out that I can't add System.Data and System.Data.Sqlclient please any idea on how to add these libraries. thanks

Yes. This is very interesting. Look like the c# and vb.net files not playing along in the same app_code folder. Try separate the cs file into a different folder as mentioned in the below article. Once you done, you should able to add the System.Data reference in the .cs file

what version of .NET Framework the website is using?

Many thanks Bryian Tan, but i have done it even before seeking for other solution it didn't work for me, note that the project was originally developed in VB.NET and i am adding C# module to it, this may be the issue.

Right click the website, Add, Reference. Under Assemblies, choose/select/check System.Data, OK.
