Caps lock event not firing.

Im checking Caps lock on here i tried with onkeypress,onkeydown,onkeyup.., Java script is not firing if i use on click it showing error 'e' is undefined..

I really cant find where im missing...,

Instead of onclick try onkeypress.

my scenario is simple..., userid and password in pwd txtbox im checking caps lock on on mouse click it's done..., if i click tab from userid txtbox i want to throw message...,

You mean would you like fire alert on clicking tab from Password text box. Also tell what is the exact scenario you are trying to achieve

Thanks Dorababu M:: the issue is "onkeypress" IE will not fire keypress events..., OnClick it's working fine..., but it enables only on mouse click...,if i want to enable that thing on Tab key...?? hlp me in this..., pls...,

Onkeypress event is not firing..., if i use Onclick keycode value is taking as 0..?
