Client and Server side validations for Calendar control

I want to apply Client side and Server side validations for Calendar control (for cybersecurity). Can I apply ajax and if so how can I apply both Client side and Server side validations for the control.

What validation?
it shouldn't be unselected?
the selected date should be greater than a given date?
if it is for DOB then can't be past days or today?

There can be any number of validation what do you want?

Yes you can write validation functions in JS as well as in code behind
example

        args.IsValid = true;
    }

suppose there is a method
public bool IsValidDate(DateTime date, string criteria)
{
switch (criteria)
{
  case: "DOB" :
     if(date>DateTime.Now))
     {
    return true;
   }
return false;
   case: "OtherCase" :
    // handle accrordingly
}
}
Now you can call this method to validate all your criterias.

I have the control as input control and not ASP server control. So if I have to do server side validations then I have to do only in submit click and if it is done in submit click of the page then I have to call one single function (for ex: checkDOB) for nearly 10 calendar controls in a single page then that method will be called 10 times in submit click with the control object as input parameter. Can this be handled effectively?

Try to use something like regex using javascript if possible. I think that might work for you
