Compare DateTime

i want to compare datetime if (datetime.Text.Length== 0) { txthours.Text = 0 } i tried above in asp.net c# but it is not working..please guide ...

Hi Akhter, You have to check your down condition out side of below condition. if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(txtINTime.Text) && !string.IsNullOrEmpty(txtOuttime.Text)) {}

@Jignesh Kumar You can not assign 0 to textbox as it only accept string value. So, instead of txthours.Text = 0; should be txthours.Text = "0" ;

Can you explain the problem in details as I can understand that you are trying to check that in a textbox the date value is selected or not. If not selected then in other textbox you want to put 0 as hours otherwise you want to do calculation. In this situation provided code will work if other requirement please provide in detail requirement.

You can try this if ( string .IsNullOrEmpty(Convert.ToString(datetime.Text))) { txthours.Text = "0" ; } else { //Write your logic here. }
