Question

I wish to know whether Control Panel will show all programs that are installed in a computer. If not what kind of programs I can see.

Still Internet Explorer is not working. How about going to uninstall or change a program web page and clicking "Turn Windows futures on or off " and removing the check mark to IE and reinstalling it again. I wish to know whether this will uninstall IE. And does not do any harm to computer.

Well, if you remove the check mark, this will turn off IE11 but it won't actually uninstall it. If you uninstall it (using the link I posted earlier), then it will roll back to IE10 and, if you uninstall that, it will rollback to IE9. Perhaps this is your best option in the circumstances though you'll have to hope that VS Express 2013 for Windows Desktop will still work acceptably with IE9 for your purposes. None of this rigmarole should harm your computer though it won't do your nerves much good :(

OK, it looks like you haven't activated it. So I'd try disabling the other add ins, one by one, until you find out which one is causing the problem. If they're there, I'd start with Shockwave and then Java. Alternatively, if you can't be bothered with that, just disable them all.

Selection of All Add-Ons gives the Name of no of items but I couldn't see the Bing bar.

I'd try disabling the Bing bar (if in fact it's enabled) and then see if IE will work 'normally'. To do that: 1. Click on Tools and then on Manage Add-Ons. 2. Under Show, click All Add-Ons and then select the Bing bar. 3. Click on Disable and then Close.

Well, add-ons may slow IE down but, worse still, they are one of the chief causes of the 'IE has stopped working error'. If it's running OK without add-ons, then possibly the Bing bar may be the culprit on both IE10 and 11.

See if it makes any difference if you do this: Click the Start button and enter Internet Explorer in the search box. In the list of results, click Internet Explorer(No Add-ons).

I don't have VS 2013 Express for Windows Desktop but, after checking its requirements, I think you might be asking for even more trouble going back to IE9 as far as that particular application is concerned. I'd suggest instead you either update to IE11 (which is what I have) or try trouble-shooting the problem with IE10. My one is Internet Explorer 10. I downloaded it from Microsoft site http://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/internet-explorer-10-details.aspx I use VS Express for 2013 for Desktop. I was advised by a dialog box that it will work well with Internet Explorer 10 that is why I installed it. Is there is no problem with VS 2013. I can install IE9.

Internet Explorer is regarded as an integral part of Windows nowadays and so it doesn't appear under Programs and Features. However, if it's been updated, then you can roll it back to the previous version. Check this link for IE9: http://www.wikihow.com/Uninstall-Internet-Explorer-9

It should show all installed programs provided the appropriate values have been written to the registry. In practice, this generally means that the program has been installed with Windows Installer or a third party installer which writes the registry values automatically.
