Convert listview item into PDF using Xamarin.Forms

Depending on the ListView item itself, you might need to convert it using a third party SDK into PDF before you can display it as such. Consider using the LEADTOOLS toolkit (https://www.leadtools.com/sdk/xamarin) which has document conversion features that you can implement in Xamarin.

You could pass the item in a memory stream so that the code would look like this:

using (var document = DocumentFactory.LoadFromStream(ms, options))
{
using (DocumentConverter documentConverter = new DocumentConverter())
{
var outFile = @"outFile.pdf";
var format = DocumentFormat.Pdf;
var jobData = DocumentConverterJobs.CreateJobData(document, outFile, format);
jobData.JobName = "conversion job";
var job = documentConverter.Jobs.CreateJob(jobData);
documentConverter.Jobs.RunJob(job);
}
}
