copy or move data from SP list to SP library within same sit

Hi,

I have created some data in excel. when i import spreadsheet all imformation that time new list will be created with data. but i want to move data from excel to SP library.

else, any option to copy list data to library within same site

Hi Netaji,
Is your requirement to copy rows from excel to metadata of a document library?
If yes, in that case metadata can only be updated against a document.
Also if you want to update the data from excel against a document in document library you would need to write a custom code. There is no OOB option of importing.

You can upload the excel in document library and access the data within that excel programmatically.

i choosed second option but this is only for list

Hi Netaji,

If you are using SharePoint 2013, you have two options:

1) Create a list template with content, save it and recreate the list using this list template.
2) Create sharePoint list by importing an excel in to sharepoint. Add an App --> Import Spreadsheet.
