Copy text from one textbox to another textbox in C#

Prajacta Cusher

I want to copy text from textbox1(user Input) to textbox2.

The text should be copied when the user leaves textbox1

can some one plzz help me...

you replace txt box ..as i did

txt_FN.Text = txt1_FN.Text;

It will work like this

cs code:

private void txt1_FN_Leave(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
{
//txt1_FN.Text = txt_FN.Text; do not put like this

txt_FN.Text = txt1_FN.Text; //you are leaving txt1_fn text box and u have to pass this txt value in diff txtbox
}

Yes exactly, answer of Neeraj Kumar is according to you requirement. So go to Property of TextBox1 & then go to events to get that done.

private void textBox1_Leave(object sender, System.EventArgs e)

    textBox2.Text=textbox1.Text

//use leave event on textbox1

Just double click on textBox1 and write single line of code , like textBox1.Text = textBox2.Text;
Check & confirm if you face any issue.
