Create table dynamically in database using c# code

Hi Friends,

I have a dataset in which i am getting data dynamically.

I want to create a table in my database using the data in the dataset.

I am trying to pass table type parameter to stored procedure but i can not use that because i have dynamic schema of source every time.

Help me to do it.

Hi Agarwal,

We can achive dyanamic table creation in many way like below code.
CREATE PROCEDURE sproc_BuildTable

    @TableName NVARCHAR(128)

   ,@Column1Name NVARCHAR(32)

   ,@Column1DataType NVARCHAR(32)

   ,@Column1Nullable NVARCHAR(32)

AS



   DECLARE @SQLString NVARCHAR(MAX)

   SET @SQString = 'CREATE TABLE '+@TableName + '( '+@Column1Name+' '+@Column1DataType +' '+@Column1Nullable +') ON PRIMARY '



   EXEC (@SQLString)

   GO
Please explain your requirement detailed, I will support.

Because, it is not correct way creating table dynamically. Instead of you can use temp tables.

Could you please your exact requirement why are you doing this so that we can suggest you other ways to achieve your requirement.

Or

It will be better if you can post your code and error for better understanding.
