Sample for fetch data is like
SqlCommand command = new SqlCommand(
"SELECT * FROM login where username=@uname and password=@pwd;",
connection);
connection.Open();
SqlDataReader reader = command.ExecuteReader();
if (reader.HasRows)
{
//login success
}
else
{
//invalid login
}
