DataColumn Caption properpty not displayed in DataGrid

Remove the word Dim between DataGrid and properties in the above post, that slipped by.

In my program I just started the column header names come right out of the DataSet populated with the Data in the .xml file, and you have to make sure in the DataGrid Dim properties you set Column Header visible to True. Take this with a grain of salt I am really new to VB .NET and XML, and this is as far as I have gotten but it populates the DataGrid including the column headers. If you are not using XML disregard. 'Generate a DataSet dsContacts As New DataSet("contacts") 'Read the contents of the xml file into the DataSet dsContacts.ReadXml(Application.StartupPath & "\contacts.xml") With DataGrid1 .DataSource = dsContacts .DataMember = "contacts" .CaptionText = .DataMember End With
