I have two datetimepickers dtp1 and dtp2

1.I need assign both dtp1 and dtp2 year as same.

2.Next I need to set the date dtp2 should be greater than or equal to dtp1

How can i do it?

I think you need to pick the financial year right??

For that the only option is,

You can check the month and year of the date which you are getting and give condition like,

if (month < 3)
{
Financialyear = (year - 1)
}
and replace the year in datepicker with the financialyear.

Hi sir
I get everything i need.Now my need is....
the date displayed should be as 01-04- and current year .While we change our system date march 2016 it should come as 31-03-2015.and when it is set to april 01 then it should change to 2016.

Can you help me?

sir i have an another question

i have written a statement as if(dtp1.value.year==dtp2.value.year)
{
then condition
}
else
{
}
In else part i need to return back to the page .It should not allow to continue.
How can i fix it?

DateTime fromdate = Convert.ToDateTime(dateTimePicker1.Text);
DateTime todate1 = Convert.ToDateTime(dateTimePicker2.Text);

DateTime today = Convert.ToDateTime(DateTime.Now.ToShortDateString());

if ((today == fromdate) && (today == todate1))
{
MessageBox.Show("From Date and To Date are equal");
}
else
{
MessageBox.Show("From Date/To Date Must be Less Than To Date");
}
