//Write a program that converts a given number from decimal to binary notation (numeral system).

Can anyone tell how to do it using For Loop?

Hi,

I have modified my original code by adding the reverse logic. I hope this will be easier for you to understand.
public static void ConvertotBinary1()
{
     int num;
     Console.Write("Enter a Number : ");
     num = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());
     string rem="";
     string binaryoutput = "";
     for (int i = 1; num > 0; i++)
     {
         rem += (num % 2).ToString();
         num /= 2;

     }
     for (int i = rem.Length - 1; i >= 0; i--)
     {
         binaryoutput = binaryoutput + rem[i];
     }
     Console.Write(binaryoutput);
     Console.Read();
}

Please try this updated code
public static void ConvertotBinary()
  {
      int num;
      Console.Write("Enter a Number : ");
      num = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());

      int binaryoutput = 0,j = 1;
      for (int i = num; i > 0; i = i / 2)
      {
          binaryoutput = binaryoutput + (num % 2) * j;
          j = j * 10;
          num = num / 2;
      }
      Console.WriteLine(binaryoutput);
      Console.Read();
  }

Hi,

No, the number is wrongly coming...
the ouput should be reversed also right

for 26 in binary it is 11010
but it is coming as 01011
