develope web application with metro style look and feel with visual studio 2010 and windows 7.

What is your reason to give your web application a Metro UI look? For websites, Metro UI look is not a good idea. It makes navigation difficult because people needs to click something to go see more details. While you may want to show some details as soon as user lands on the first page. 

What kind of website is it? What are the requirements?

Metro UI is suitable for touch screens only, at this point. 

For example, C# Corner, you come to home page and if you need to click a big Image to go to latest articles, it would not make sense.

So if you are building just to build it for fun, that is OK but you ought to ask yourself. Who are the users of your website. What are the needs? What are the requirements.
