diff b/w view and join?

Views we user to user query to select data and joins are user inside the view query to get the data from different tables related to each other.

A VIEW is generally used:

To present the information data on a different point of view;

To simplify the access to the information of a high-level complexity of the database schema;

To prevent direct access to database tables (for security purposes)

In SQL joins are used to get data from two or more tables based on relationship between some of the columns in tables. In most of the cases we will use primary key of first table and foreign key of secondary table to get data from tables by using this relationship we can reduce the duplication of data in every table.
