sqlserver is a database where u will store data. Linq to sql is a .net 3.5 technology where you can use linq in sqlserver data i.e .dbml file

Hi, Linq to Sql classes are very useful when we are developing Silverlight application etc. Basically Silverlight doesn't support Ado.net. So whats the alternative.There linq to Sql classes are comes into the picture. By using Linq :we can deal everything in a object oriented way. (get the value and put it in a object. Use the object where ever you want).
