There is no difference. Microsoft Entra ID is simply a new name for Azure Active Directory. They rebranded it.
Note that classic Active Directory (the original, on-prem solution) is still called Active Directory. If you want to compare the cloud version (Entra ID) to the on-prem version (AD) here is a good Microsoft article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/fundamentals/compare
