Difference between onshore and off shore?

Also you can say Onshore means where people are doing work at Client place and offshore means people do their work at their places.

If you have project for US company, 2 people might work at client place to interact with them and to support them.

But there will be few peoples at India, who will be working for them, but they wont have direct client interaction.
