Hi,

string.empty handles memory efficently than string x="";
"" actually creates an object but string.empty does not.
Also, it is a best practise to avoid hardcoding like "";

string.empty not holds any thing...string="" is having one undisplayed charecter 'space' \0.
"" actually creates an object but string.empty does not.
string.empty is best way...its reduce memory and garbage.

Hi,

String.Empty is a readonly field while "" is a const. This means you can't use String.Empty in a switch statement because it is not a constant.
