differnce between .tostring and convert.tostring();

Hello

 

toString() :

 

when you declare string variable and if you dont provide value than it will throw exception

 

I mean variable should not be blank 

 

convert.toString() :

 

It takes default null value at a time of use 

 

And if conversion of value will be remain blank than it will not generate any exception

 

It is main difference i have faced during development

 Convert.ToString() handles null, while ToString() doesn't.
