execute below code when datetime picker needs to be display as empty
dtpData.CustomFormat = " " ; // assign empty SPACE
dtpData.Format = DateTimePickerFormat.Custom
In DateTimePicker1_ValueChanged event you have to set the format which you want to display after select datetime.
dtpData.CustomFormat = "dd/MM/yyyy hh:mm:ss"
